I’m Dylan Strus — a wedding and family photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

I’ve been photographing people since 2009, back when photography was raw, slow, and far less polished. Even then, I knew this wasn’t a hobby. It was the work I wanted to do seriously, consistently, and well.

I started in high-pressure event environments where moments don’t repeat and hesitation isn’t an option. That’s where I learned to stay calm, react quickly, and make decisions. This experience still defines how I work today — especially on wedding days, where everything matters, but nothing should feel rushed.

Over the years, my work moved through event, fashion, and wedding photography, gradually merging into a refined and disciplined approach. Each stage taught me something essential — how to react quickly, see clearly, and work with structure.

Together, they allow me to create wedding photographs that feel natural, confident, and timeless — images with a subtle, classic, almost Hollywood-inspired elegance that still make sense years from now. ."

Outside of client work, I teach children photography and interface design, sharing my artistic perspective and technical knowledge. It keeps me focused on clarity and patience in how I work with people and photography.
